He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meriam (Jack) and Barbara Meriam (Barb); his brothers, Ken (Sug) and Michael; and his brothers-in-law, Ian Scott and John Steuer.
He is survived by: his close friend Catherine Butler; his daughters, Laura Crombie (Markus), Jennifer Reidpath (Jim) and Julie; his stepdaughter Debbie; his grandchildren, Summer, Alexis, Rachel Crombie, Carter, Haylie, Dylan, Rylie Reidpath and Nevaeh Greenbird; and his siblings, Donna Meriam, Dianne Scott, Judy Steuer, Sandy Fielder (Carman), Leroy Meriam (Yvette), Jackie Lake (Dave) and Kim Austin (Ron).
