He was predeceased by: his parents, John Malcolm MacDonald and Elizabeth Sarah MacAskill (Lizzie); his daughter Sarah Elizabeth MacDonald (Beth); and his siblings, Donald and Jessie.
He is survived by: his children, Greg (Sonia) and Tamara; his grandchildren, Cory, Brittany (Marolyn), Madison (Tyler), Jasmine (Michael), Arielle (Josh), Emily, Tyler, Travis, Jeremy and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Daniel, Aurora, Theo, Jack, Mason, Calista and Liam.
A prayer was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G4Y5). Viewing was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Church (11440 Argyll Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G5T7). A burial was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery (17 Side Rd, Halton Hills, ON L0P).
