He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera McGowan and Bill McGowan. He is survived by: his siblings, John (Diane), June (late Lee), Ron (Ellen), Gary (Darlene) and Verna (late John); his siblings' children, Vera, Gary (Angela), Lisa (Cliff), Glenn (Erika), Wendy, Jodie (Tyler), Cathy, Leanne (Pierre), Laura (Thomas), Tracy (Michael), Sue and Rachel; and his pet Lotus. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated.
