He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janice (Matheson); his sons, Cameron, Matthew (Danielle), Braydon and Owen; his pets, Stella and Kiki; his parents, Jim McKnight and Margaret McKnight; and his brothers, Steve and Kevin.
For ten years, they had a condo in Florida, which was Rob's favourite place, until they sold it during Covid, and bought their Muskoka cottage, which became Rob's new favourite place.
