He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Minnie Bennett (Clarke); and his siblings, Frank, Kenny, Roy, Doug, Joan, Mary, Linda, Ethel and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa (MacLean); his daughters, Jo-Ann McKinnon (Russel) and Jennifer Theriault (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alexia, Hunter and Brooklyn; his siblings, Andy, Sandra and Donna; and his sisters-in-law, Claire, Annette and Darlene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
