It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trudy Poot (Georgetown, Ontario), who passed away on May 11, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Trudy Poot to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sijtze Drijfhout and Geertje Drijfhout. She is survived by: her children, Rick Poot (Cindy Deakin), Leona Chiovitti (Ron Dunkerley), Cherie Rauwerda (Andy) and Dwayne Poot (Carol); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Kevin), Nick (Julia), Nicole (Joel), Eric, Jackson and Isaac.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Georgetown Christian Reformed Church (11611 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G4S4).
