He was predeceased by: his brothers, Brian and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Bill Barr (Cindy) and Kim Downey (Robert); his grandchildren, Caitlyn, Sam, Ryan, Lorelei and Lucy; his adoptive daughter Sarah (Dave); his sister Eleanor Vardy (John); and also, Kaitlyn and Rayna.
