He was predeceased by: his daughter Tanya Lynn Toews (Nelson); his brothers, Bill Kent and Patrick Stoyles; and his parents, John Stoyles and Ellen "Nellie" Stoyles.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Patrick Stoyles; his grandchildren, Quila (Dan) and Ezra (Nick); his great grandchild Zane William; his sister Bridget; and his friend Smokey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister's and brother's in law.
