He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Bruce McEachern and Gladys McEachern; his sisters, Mary Ellen and Beth (Gord); and his sister-in-law Marjorie Colnutt.

He is survived by: his children, Dan (Brenda) and Janice (Gerry); his grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah) and Felisha; and his brother-in-law Jim. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kilmartin Cemetery.
