Ina Nelms Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ina Nelms (Glencoe, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Simpson and Jemina Simpson (McEachran); her husband Vernon Charles Nelms; her grandson Matthew (Jessica); and her siblings, Frances McCallum (Duncan), Dorothy Parker (Harvey), Douglas Simpson (Edna) and Stewart Simpson (Betty).
She is survived by: her children, Leanne, David (Maggie) and Alicia; and her grandchildren, Aiden (Hayley), Dylan (Belen), Maria, Drew and Brenden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Van Heck Funeral Home (172 Symes St, Glencoe, ON N0L1M0). A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at the Oakland Cemetery (3356 Longwoods Rd, Glencoe, ON N0L1M0).
Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Anglican Church.
