He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Joyce and Lewis Joyce; his wife Susan; and his siblings, Carole, David and Michael.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Louise; his children, Niky and Timothy; and his grandchildren, Amelia and Nathan.

However, Peter would have sincerely appreciated any donations made in his honour to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or the Rideau Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.
