She was predeceased by: her spouse Piet Reinsma; her siblings, Margaret, Corrie, Tine, Tony, Nick and John; and her siblings-in-law, Joan, Henry Jongsma and Henk Zeilstra.
She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence Reinsma of Cuba and Ferdinand Reinsma of British Columbia; her grandchildren, Stacey (Andrew), Ian (Megan), Andrew (Mariah), Brandon, Alyssa (Jean-Marc), Cameron, Carina and Stefan; her brother Ben Van Den Assem; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Cornish of Bayfield, Lee Van Den Assem of Hanover, Nancy Van Den Assem of Calgary and Alvin Wallace of Blyth. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
