It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Veda McDonald (Goderich, Ontario), who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other John Charles Brown; her parents, Hardy Shore and Veda Shore; and her brothers, Robert and James Shore.
She is survived by: her brother Murton Shore; her children, Tory McDonald, Anne Babin (Russell Stoddart), Robert McDonald (Elisabeth) and David McDonald (Lisa); her grandchildren, Danielle, Courtney, Ryan, Nicole (Kaylen), Sarah, Katherine and Elizabeth; and her friend Joan Lounsbury. She is also survived by her friends at the card table and, her extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home (11 Cambria Rd N, Goderich, ON N7A2N8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Chapel of Ease (3424 Glanworth Dr, London, ON N6L1J6).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation for the new MRI machine.
