Douglas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Douglas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Douglas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor and Margaret; and his son Craig. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his grandchildren, Lauren (Tristan), Charis (Michael), Wesley (Kali) and Declan; and his great grandchildren, Arielle-Grace and Titus-Joel.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Huron Chapel Evangelical Missionary Church (119 John St, Auburn, ON N0M1E0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alexandra Marine and General Hospital for the MRI fundraiser or to his church, Huron Chapel.
