He was predeceased by: his son Barry; his parents, Edward Diehl and Hazel Diehl; his son-in-law Paul Doak; and his siblings, Ronald, Donald, Edna and Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae Diehl (Carter); his children, Brian (Sharon) and Brenda Doak; and his grandchildren, Eric, Sarah Diehl, Christine Doak, Amber and Chelsey Murphy.
