He is survived by: his children, Steve Howson (Cathy), Ron Howson, Sandra DeCorte (Tony), Deb Beckett and David MacLeod (Corrie); his grandchildren, Meaghan Cicchini (Nick), Holly Howson (Justin Burke), Brenden Howson (Anika Kumhyr), Jenna Durrer (Alex), Emily DeCorte (Mark Sharman), Courtney (Justin), Chelsea, Tyler, Summer and Taya; his great grandchildren, Reid, Grace, Kaiden, Alexah, Oliveah, Harper and Lukas; his siblings, Bill, Doug (Barb), Ann Crawford (Bob), Bruce (Candice), Margaret Craig (Brian) and Mary Arthur; and his family Howson Ltd.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel (201 Suncoast Dr E, Goderich, ON N7A4H8). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
