She was predeceased by: her husband Ewart Leslie Cornish; her sons, Philip Brent Cornish and John Robert Leslie Cornish; her parents, T. R. Thompson and Josephine Thompson (Livingston); and her siblings, Yvonne Reynolds and Bobby Thompson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kirsten Andrews, Kara Toews, Michael Cornish and Josh Cornish; her sisters, Pat Unrau and Sharon Youngblut; and her brother-in-law Bruce Youngblut.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (231 Bayfield Rd, Goderich, ON N7A3G5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Ethnos Canada Mission or Calvary Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.
