Marion left this world on May 19, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband James Hayes; her sisters, Doris Hilton and Margaret Galloway; her sons, Jack and Allan Hayes; and her son-in-law Maurice Thibeault.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Brown (Tom), Kathy Thibeault, Morris Hayes (Lorna), Linda Ashworth (John) and Sunsan Kunkel (Leonard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McCallum & Palla Funeral Home (11 Cambria Rd N, Goderich, ON N7A2N8). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion's memory can be directed to Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation- MRI Fund or the Huron Hospice.
