She was predeceased by: her mother Teresa Faith; her husband Wayne; and her siblings, Tom, Jerry, Eleanor, Anne and Bonnie.
She is survived by: her boyfriend William DeJong (Bill); her children, Michelle Whitely (Bill), Suanne Smith (Bob), Wayne Smith (Joanne) and Leigh Melady (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Andrew (Melissa), Meghan (Steve), Matthew, Kyle (Jessica), Josh (Kadorina), Alysha (Tom), Kiera (Tyler), Mckenna (Blake), Scott (Val), Taylor (Tom), Kelsey (Tyler), Mac (Megan), Kate (Zack), Maddie (Foster), Luke (Allana), Sam and Cole. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (156 North St, Goderich, ON N7A2V3).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, Make-A-Wish Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
