We announce the death of Rowena Hoy (Goderich, Ontario), who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 94. Rowena will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Mervyn; her daughter Judy Potter; her son-in-law Brian Bowman; her parents, Edith Miller and John Hartwick; her stepfather George Dixon; her siblings, Charlotte, Marie, Caroline, Mildred, Robert and Miller; and her parents-in-law, Ida and Arthur Hoy.

She is survived by: her children, Janette (Laverne Felkar), Corinne (Larry McNeil), George (Jane Hoy), Bonnie Bowman of Goderich, Cheryl (Dave Martin), Faith (Bill Blaney) and Greg Potter of Hanover.
