Joan Hazelwood wrote a sympathy message

“We were saddened to hear of Helen's passing. She was a lovely and kind lady. We enjoyed visiting with her at the Shantz Reunions along with David and we looked forward to the wonderful food she prepared for the family potluck. My Aunt Gladys Kropf (Schmidt) said she had lovely visits at the Weber home many years ago. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Joan Hazelwood and Gladys Kropf”

Louise Pauli wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of the passing of Helen.. Helen was the sweetest, most honest soul I have met. As a kid, I would love going to the farm and visiting. Helen would always welcome you with open arms.. I remember thinking as a child. Wow she really works hard , but she always did it with a smile.. She served her Lord and Saviour with Grace now she has gone home.. I am sure my mom Esther was waiting for her as she entered heaven. my sympathy to the whole family, Louise Pauli.( nee Gordon)”
