We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2021, at the age of 95, Austin Hunt (Gore Bay, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Austin Hunt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Anita; and his brother Dr. John Hunt (Muriel). He is survived by : his sons, Wayne (Christine Johnson) and Michael; and his grandchildren, Austin and Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the St. John's Anglican Church or the Old Mill Heritage Centre - Billings Museum (cheques may be sent to the Funeral Home).

“I have so many fond memories of Mr. Hunt 'Auzzie'. He was an absolute delight to work with on the board and we had many a good laughs about emails and packages. He was kind, funny and very very smart. I enjoyed his stories and his matter of fact way of handling board items. He was a true inspiration and shared his love of the island with everyone. My sincerest condolences to the family and friends.”
