He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calback and Margaret Calback; and his siblings, John, Edith and Corrine.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Ashton Calback (Nina) and Patricia; his wife Carolyn; his children, Joyce and Lorne; his children-in-law, Rob Rogers and Dawn; his grandchildren, Skylar Rogers (Alejandro Pinzon), Zachary Farnel (Viviana Villagran), Damian Rogers (Samantha Bailey), Nathan and Thomas Calback; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Evelyn and Santiago.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (3 McQuarrie Blvd, Gore Bay, ON P0P 1H0). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
