He was predeceased by: his wife Willie; and his parents, Russell and Emily. He is survived by: his siblings, David (Jessie), Robert and Cora; his children, Leslie, Anne (Alex), Jennifer (Wayne) and Melissa (David); his grandchildren, Kyle (Paety), Laurie (Jeff), Stephanie (JJ), Katie, Ryan (Becca), Nicholas (Rachel), Cassie (Tyler), Colleen (Jason), Rosie (Jon) and Rheanna (Fang); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Tammy, Trystan, Noah, Declan, Arthur, Bellamy and Octavia; his sister Eleanor Harris (late Norman); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Munro (late Bob), Jacinthe Sloan (late Ken), Stanley Sloan (late Ada), John Sloan (late Evelyn) and Murray Sloan (Sheila). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (3 McQuarrie Blvd, Gore Bay, ON P0P1H0).
