He was predeceased by : his wife Mary Lou; his daughter Carol; and his parents, Andrew Emery and Angeline Emery. He is survived by : his children, Deborah and Douglas (Connie); his siblings, Fred, Jim and Catherine Lucibello (Ron); his granddaughters, Julianne and Madeleine; his niece Brenda; his nephew Michael (Rose); his great-nephew Christian; and his caregivers, Julia, Bridgette and Sherry.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Simpson Funeral Home (3 McQuarrie Blvd, Gore Bay, ON P0P1H0).
