He was predeceased by : his parents, Annie Mae Crawford and William Augustus Van Horn; his wife Mary; his son Jimmy Van Horn; and his grandson Kevin Van Horn.
He is survived by : his children, Ruthanne Francis (late Richard), Carol O'Rourke (late Pat) of Cambridge, Lyle Van Horn (Peggy) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Linda Antler (late Ed), Bruce Van Horn of Mindemoya, Roberta Maillet (late Peter Henderson), Brook of New Brunswick and Terri Van Horn of Sudbury. He is also survived by his siblings, and survived by many nieces and nephews.
