She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl and Nellie; her sister Karen Gorman (Rick); and her husband Charles Jozef Vanderkant. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Vanderkant, Janalynn Vanderkant and Darryl Vanderkant (Tracy); and her siblings, Lorelie Battram (late Dale), Wendy Thompson (late Carlyle), Debbie Wiseman (Jim), Julie Nelson (late Ken), Vicki Huber (Del) and Doug Shaddock (Shawna).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grand Bend Legion (20 Municipal Drive).
