Arvids Beitans Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arvids Beitans of Granton, Ontario, who passed away on January 5, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Erika Beitans; his grandchild Ansitis Smits; and his siblings, Nelija Rozite, Karlis of Latvia and Ojars of Latvia.

He is survived by: his children, Dace Smits (late Edgars) of Latvia, Inta Kusmanis (Peteris) of Toronto, Jan Beitans (Brandy Shaw) of Lucan and Martins Beitans of Granton; his grandchildren, Martins, Ieva Smits of Latvia, Talis Smits (Katrina Balcere-Smite) and Anneli (Eriks Lusis) of Kalamazoo Michigan; his great grandchildren, Lilija and Anna Lusis of Kalamazoo; and his sibling Ilga Vanags (Arturs) of Latvia. He is also survived by other relatives.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, London.
