He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne Monteith and Karen Monteith; and his daughter Jennifer Bard (Andy). He is survived by: his wife Libby Acton (Donna) of Arva; his brother Lloyd (Catharine) of Granton; his children, Jocelyn Monteith of Moffat, Amanda Crawford (George) of Guelph and Amy Monteith (Andrew Kramer) of Guelph; his stepdaughters, Caroline Acton of Toronto and Jenny Acton (John Shiga) of Toronto; and his grandchildren, Kati, Alex, Brendan, Jessica, Erika, Callie, Evie and Elise.
