Rita Clara Barnes Obituary
The passing of Rita Clara Barnes (Gravenhurst, Ontario) occurred on October 3, 2026. Rita, born on December 30, 1938, is remembered by those who knew her. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Myrle Barnes; her sons, Terry Barnes and Danny Barnes; and her siblings, Roberta, Leonard, Joan, Ralph, Glen, Sheila and Billy.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis, Donna Barnes, Gary and Stephanie Barnes; her daughter-in-law Marylin Barnes; her grandchildren, Shannon Smith, Amanda Cleavely, Daniel, Jonathan, Jake, Garrett and Tyler; and her brothers, David Stothers and Mark Stothers. She is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kilworthy Lutheran Cemetery.
