It is with sadness that the passing of Gerald Crotty of Greely, Ontario is shared. Gerald, born on October 30, 1936, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Helen Crotty and Arthur John Crotty; his brothers, Wayne, Robert (Brenda), Barry (Donna) and Brian; his niece Marie; and his nephew Brian.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Mary-Joan Cardill; his children, Gerry (Suzanne) and Karen (Paul Charbonneau); his grandchildren, Connor (Gabbie), Brianna, Cameron, Braeden, Owen and Reagan; his sisters, Marguerite (Andy Cummings) and Susan (Glen Hickling); and his grandson Gerald. He is also survived by many in-laws and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6).
