Florence Esther Riehl Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Esther Riehl of Greenwood, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2026 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Florence Esther Riehl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Huber and Violet Huber (Baker); her parents-in-law, Lawrence and Ottillia Riehl; and her siblings, Elizabeth Burkholder (Martha Good), Gertrude DeLacy (George Huber), John Huber (Lois Huber) and Frank Roth (Mona Riehl).
She is survived by: her siblings, Emma Huber, Paul Huber (Fern), Mabel Roth, Phoebe Koch (Glen), Carl Huber (Esther) and Ruth Huber; her sisters-in-law, Erlene Huber and Martha Huber; and her siblings' children, Karen, Al Furtney and Swiss.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the East Zorra Mennonite Church Cemetery (677044 16th Line, New Hamburg, ON N3A2X3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Elgin Missionary Church (4192 Perth County Line 36, Stratford, ON N5A6S6).
