He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Maaike); and his siblings, Reinou Wiersma (late Siep), Nancy Vanderkooi (late Joe), Mike (Rose), Dorothy Bell and Maria Cassidy (Paul).
He is survived by: his children, Fred DeBeer of Grimsby, Trudy DeBeer Visser, Diana Lunn (Duayne) and Andrew DeBeer (Karen); and his siblings, Anne Posthumus (late Clarence), Sylvia Weening (late Sidney), Tina Vandervelde (Bill), Susan Verkaik (Jim), Frances DeBeer-Hebb (Kevin) and Andy DeBeer (Jean).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Providence Christian Reformed Church (4845 King St, Beamsville, ON L3J0N5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2250 ON-20, Fonthill, ON L0S1E6).
