It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilbertus Smit in Grimsby, Ontario, who passed away on March 8, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hilbertus Smit to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by : his wife Jenny Smit; his children, Patricia Vanderkooy (Herman), Margaret Vandezande (Richard) and Jack Smit (Pauline Vanderlugt); and his great grandchildren, Jen, Anna Vanderkooy, Helen Vanderkooy, Robert Smit (Michelle Zandstra), Melanie, Julia Scholman (David) and Elana Smit. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
