He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Jean Olmsted (Hiscott) and Hugh Watson Olmsted; and his wife Teresa Mary Olmsted (Vella). He is survived by: his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Frida; his granddaughter Josephine; and his sister Marjorie Hughes of St. Catharines.
