She was predeceased by: her husband Joe (Giuseppe); and her siblings, Rosa Longo and Joe Prestipino. She is survived by: her children, Rita and Mario (Marianne); her grandchildren, Jesse (Tiffany) and Shanda (Ray); her brother Sam; and her sisters-in-law, Pierina (Guelph), Maria and Rosaria. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (45 Victoria Rd N, Guelph, ON N1E5G9). A committal service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marymount Cemetery (5400 Hwy 6, Ariss, ON N0B1B0). An entombment will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at the same location.
If desired, as expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Adele to Hospice Wellington or St. Joseph's Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
