He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane; his children, Allison Knipfel (Brian) and Amanda Cameron (Blaine); his grandchildren, Brendan, Erin Knipfel, Reagan and Colin Cameron; and his brothers, Rod (Roseanne), Donn (JoAnne) and Earl (Lazina). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home (1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P2S7). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Guelph Line (1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P2S7).
