He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emiliano Elias Carlos and Francisca Gatmaitan Carlos; his wife Penny Carlos (Paul); and his siblings, Edgardo G. Carlos, Rodrigo (Nellie), Wilfredo, Rebecca Cruz (Alfonso) and Danilo (Linda).
