We bid farewell to Benito Carbone (Guelph, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Benito touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Maria (Fiore), Antonio (Lea), Rosa (Domenico), Luigi and Lina (Pierro).
He is survived by: his wife Lina; his children, Joe (Christine) and Germano; his grandchildren, Daniel (Delaney), Melissa (Sean), Christopher and Alexa; and his sister-in-law Alma. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (409 Paisley Rd, Guelph, ON N1H2R4). A committal service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Marymount Cemetery (5400 Hwy 6, Ariss, ON N0B1B0). An entombment was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Benito to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
