He was predeceased by: his parent Grace (Bruder); his parent-in-law Albert Stevenson; and his sibling-in-law Bruce Downey (Lauraine) of New York State. He is survived by: his spouse Regina (Downey); his child Megan; his parent Vincent; his brothers, Brian (Catherine) of Maryhill, Barry (Lisa) of Guelph and Bruce (Karen) of Guelph; his parent-in-law Catherine Wiedenbeck; and his siblings-in-law, Michele (Bob McMorris) of New York State and Michael Downey of New York State.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
