He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda (Rosenbaum); his parents, Stefan Chrobot and Maria Chrobot; and his sisters, Diana Szymczak of Germany and Irena Krauze of France.

He is survived by: his children, Ted (Barbara) of San Francisco, Barbara Reid (Brian) of Guelph and Larry (Carolyn) of Prince George, BC.; his grandchildren, Diana, Christina, Matthew, Drew, Caitlin, Tristan, Andrew, Kathryn and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Ariel, Jacob, Hannah, Aiden, Hudson, Maddux, Megan, Maxwell, Michelle, Madison, Harper, Elliott, Hailey and Brooklyn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, lifelong friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St N, Guelph, ON N1H4P3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (98 Alice St, Guelph, ON N1E2Z8). A committal service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM at the Marymount Cemetery (5400 Hwy 6, Guelph/Eramosa, ON N0B1B0). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:50 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Guelph Curling Club (816 Woolwich St, Guelph, ON N1E0N6).
