He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Gray (Beatty); and his parents, Dr. Kenneth Gray and Honour Gray (Tett). He is survived by: his brothers, Douglas (Maureen Callahan) and John (Ruth); his siblings' children, Julia (Michael Hodge), Caroline (Rob Williams), Catherine (Nantha Kumar) and Chris Gray; his sister-in-law Susan Fowlie (George); and his siblings' children, Meredith (Duncan Callaway) and Jonathan (Jaime).
