He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ireland and Marjorie Ireland; and his brother-in-law Robert Langlois. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Mary-Ann Kiely (Tim), Bill (Tara), Shelley Monaco (Joe), Steve (Shelva), Mike (Ladonna) and Patrick (Colleen); his siblings, Patricia Wetlauffer (Ken), Robert Ireland (Sharon) and Peter Ireland (Jean); his sister-in-law Marilyn; and also, William Ireland (Phyllis) and Margaret Walkinshaw (Gordon).
Guests are required to wear masks and to social distance for the visitation and the funeral mass.
