He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Janette Irwin; and his siblings, William Irwin, Maureen Irwin and Patricia Lowe. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Tara) of Guelph and Sean of Toronto; his grandchildren, Brooke and Jack; his great grandchildren, Austin and Harper; and his sisters-in-law, Marge Irwin, Shirley Breen and Doreen Hugill.
