He is survived by: his siblings, Leonard (Elsie Bates), Wayne (Connie Bates), Tim (Susan Bates), Sharon Andrews of Markdale, Nancy (John Stone), Shirley Bates of Durham, Gloria (Glenn Stevens) and Patricia Bates of Kitchener; and his daughter Sherri Binkle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home (44 John St S, Harriston, ON N0G1Z0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
