In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Elena had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Elena may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mariano. She is survived by: her son Rino (Lynn); and her granddaughter Marilena. She is also survived by her family including many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (175 Emma St, Guelph, ON N1E1V6). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Marymount Cemetery (5400 Hwy 6, Ariss, ON N0B1B0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Guelph General Hospital Foundation, St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society in honour of Elena would be appreciated by the family.
