The family announces the passing of Elva Ruth Kocher of Guelph, Ontario on September 6, 2026. Elva, born on June 3, 1927, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Law and Rita Law; and her husband Gordon Kocher. She is survived by: her children, Peter (Anna), John (Sherry Pedersen), Len (Mary), Marianne and Robert; her grandchildren, Lisa (Adam Ostriyznick), Jessica O'Connor (Elliot), Katrina, Kurt (Kyla) and Sofia; and her great grandchildren, Cara, Logan and Scarlet.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Guelph Country Club (133 Woodlawn Rd E, Guelph, ON N1E7A8).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
