He was predeceased by : his brother David; and his parents, Gordon Sr. and Joanne. He is survived by : his wife Erika; his daughter Elizabeth (Dan Adams); his grandchildren, Harlow and Sterling; his sister Joyce (Barry Hawman); his brother-in-law Ernie (Teresa D'Andrea); his nieces and nephews, Joanne (David Saab), Denise (Lee), Ian, Brandon, Christopher and Natalie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katelyn, Avery and Sienna. He is also survived by cousins, wonderful friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith's Funeral Home - Guelph Line (1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, ON L7P2S7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
