He was predeceased by: his wife Eva; his grandsons, Matt and Jeff; and his brothers, Bill Steele and Jack Wallace.

He is survived by: his children, John, Pat, Bill (Carrie) and Mike (Gail); his grandchildren, Krystle, Emily, Charlie, Jaden, Tannah and Jackson; and his great grandchild Austen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
