It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Christie (Guelph, Ontario), who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Roy Kurtz; and her siblings-in-law, Lindsay Christie and Fran Christie. She is survived by: her husband Edward P Christie (Ted); her daughters, Bonnie (Raymond Bolton) of Guelph and Wendy (Grant Drohan) of Guelph; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy), Robert (Rebecca), Nicole, Christopher (Holly), Matthew (Vicki) and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Charles, Henry, Ruth-anne, Thomas, Tyson, Hunter, Charlotte, Ella, Jack, James, Kaleah and Carson; her siblings, Vincent Kurtz (late Grace) of Guelph, John Kurtz, Kathryn Edwards (Bill), Clare Kurtz and Marjorie DuVal (Ken); and her siblings-in-law, Gary, Wynne Christie, Kurt, Sandy Christie, Noel, Paul and Nadia Christie.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Food for Children Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
